Smile Design at A2 is not just “making teeth pretty”. It is digital smile planning that takes into account the face, lips, bite, phonetics, facial expressions, function and your sense of self.
How it works
The first step — book to see your future smile.
- First meeting
- An in-person meeting in a city convenient for you: Dnipro, Kyiv or one of the partner clinics in Ukraine or abroad. At this stage we create your digital copy: photo and video protocol, scanning, analysis of the smile, face, bite, function and expectations.
- Digital planning
- We analyze aesthetic parameters, facial proportions, tooth shape, smile line, lip dynamics, phonetics, muscles and joints. If needed, we perform CT of the maxillofacial area, teleradiography, cephalometry and a detailed analysis of the facial bone structures.
- Second meeting
- Online or offline, we show the project of your future smile in digital form and discuss the optimal strategy. If needed, the project can be physically transferred to your mouth — a mock-up — so you can assess shape, length, volume, color and the change of your smile before treatment begins.
- Discussing the strategy
- We discuss possible paths, timelines, stages, cost, risks and the optimal strategy right away. Sometimes a minimal correction is enough. Sometimes veneers are needed. Sometimes the right path is aligning the teeth, working with the bite or comprehensive facial planning.
- Your “yes” — and only then the start
- We discuss, adjust and agree. Treatment starts only after the result and the plan are clear to you and you like them.
Our principles of creating harmony
For us aesthetics is not subjective taste. It is analysis, balance and precise planning. We use the principles of Digital Smile Design, the Golden Ratio, facial analysis, photo protocol, video protocol, digital modeling and interdisciplinary diagnostics.
A smile does not exist apart from the person.
We assess: face · smile line · lip shape · tooth proportions · bite · phonetics · muscle function · joints · profile · age · style · the patient's expectations.
We aim to preserve the person's naturalness and identity, but we plan every step based on concrete parameters: the relation of the upper and lower jaw, the length of the central incisors, the width of the smile, tooth proportions, lip position and other important details.
Why it matters to see the result in advance
The hardest thing in aesthetics is making decisions blindly. So we remove the uncertainty: you decide not by imagining but by seeing the possible result. This protects you from unnecessary procedures.
Sometimes the project shows that what's needed is not veneers but alignment. Sometimes — that minimal changes are enough. And sometimes — that we should work not only with the teeth but also with the bite, the profile or facial proportions.
